About Dwell
Origin Story
Dwell began with twin brothers, Jonathan and Joshua Bailey, and a simple but persistent desire: to soak in Scripture.
As they explored the landscape of Bible apps, they noticed a clear gap. Most were built for reading or study—but none were truly audio-first, and those that included audio weren't crafted to make hearing Scripture a delight.
So they set out to create a beautiful, immersive Bible app, designed for the ear. In their research, they uncovered an ancient truth: for most of history, the Bible was heard, not read. Dwell, then, could help people reclaim the ancient practice of listening to Scripture as a modern rhythm.
Today, Dwell offers a fresh way to experience the Bible—with thoughtful narration, cinematic music, and soul-refreshing design, it invites people to be renewed by the Word of life.
